Buddhagupta's coins are known from a very few specimens found so far. His coins were only issued of the Archer Type.
Class I - shows the King holding the bow at the top, the letter's Buddha under the kings left arm. Circular legend has not yet been identified. Weights of these coins ranges in the 9.3 to 9.4 gms. Reverse shows the Goddess Lakshmi holding lotus flower, seated on a lotus. SriVikrama biruda on the reverse.
Class II - Similar to Class I, but kings name is missing from under the kings left arm. The style, weight and fabric of these Class II coins are similar to Class I. Reverse biruda is same Srivikrama.
Class II
No letters under Arm on Obverse. 9.38gm. Srivikramah on reverse.
