Book Errata

Greetings,

Thank you for your order of my book - Treasures of the Gupta Empire. I hope you enjoy reading this book, as much as I have enjoyed researching and writing it.

After you have had a chance to read through it, I would love to hear your comments, via email, on any questions or thoughts on how to further improve the book.

If you are a collector, as you go through your collection, you may spot coin varieties that may not have been recorded in the book. Please do drop me a line with the image so I can keep the catalogue updated.

Even though the book has gone through multiple rounds of proofing, a few errors have been noticed. Please update your copy of the book with the following corrections:

Errata & Corrigenda

Page 9, 67: 1 grain = 0.06479 grams

Page 78: Second Paragraph: ‘A few coin types, such as the Chakravikrama Type attributed to Chandragupta II …

Page 83: Table: 'Summary of Percent of Gold by King' - Last coin listed should read as Vishnugupta (not Vainyagupta). The coin has also been identified as a Vishnugupta coin in the notes below the table in note 6 and Coin #1244 on page 96.
